Morgan Rogers is very excited about the idea of moving to Arsenal, according to Alex Goldberg.
Goldberg, who regularly covers Chelsea on TalkSPORT, has revealed that despite interest from the Blues, Rogers’ focus seems to be on joining the Gunners.
Arsenal are linked with a move for Rogers, and the North London club could make their move for the attacker this summer.
Lyall Thomas claims that Rogers is open to leaving Villa, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain all interested.
Imagine you are Andrea Berta. Who is your top target for Arsenal in the summer transfer window?
The Midlands club would want in excess of £80 million for the attacking midfielder, which could be reinvested back into the squad.
Noni Madueke recently liked a post about Arsenal being linked to Rogers, and it’s clear he would be a popular addition in N5.
This summer, the Villa player will be going to the World Cup with Bukayo Saka, Madueke, Declan Rice and Eberechi Eze, who could all be getting in his ear.
Rogers would be an interesting addition given his ability to play both the right and through the middle, with the Gunners hoping to add a left winger this summer.
But whether Arsenal would be willing to spend over £80 million on Rogers will be a different story.
