Arsenal are expected to strengthen again this summer regardless of the outcome of the title race, with Morgan Rogers one of the players on their radar.

Rogers has had another superb season with Aston Villa and is attracting plenty of interest from teams both in England and over in Europe.

Any deal for Rogers is likely to be expensive, with Villa valuing their man around the £100m mark.

Of course, Arsenal have spent that sort of money before and according to TalkSPORT’s Ben Jacobs, the Gunners are indeed the most active of the English clubs.

Arsenal and Manchester United more likely to sign Morgan Rogers than Liverpool

Every top club in England would take Morgan Rogers. At the moment, he is one of the best number tens in the game and he’s expected to help lead England’s charge at this summer’s World Cup.

With so many clubs keen, signing Rogers could be hard work. But according to TalkSPORT and Jacobs, it is Arsenal – along with Man United – who hold the biggest interest in England.

Liverpool are also keeping an eye on Rogers, while Man City also like the former Middlesbrough man.

However, there is also interest from abroad, with the likes of PSG mentioned as being keen.

Furthermore, Rogers is also believed to be open to the idea of moving abroad and following the likes of Harry Kane in improving his game in another league.

For Arsenal, of course, the more interest in Rogers there is, the harder any deal becomes.

Morgan Rogers over Anthony Gordon for Arsenal

There are players being linked with moves to Arsenal already and it is obvious that Mikel Arteta wants to add players in the attacking third.

Anthony Gordon has been linked with a move to The Emirates for some time now but really, if Morgan Rogers is available, he has to be above Gordon in the pecking order.

His form at Villa and the fact he very much has his best years ahead of him means Arsenal can mould Rogers into their star player for years to come.

Furthermore, Rogers has that ability to play both off the left and down the middle if needed, very much where Thomas Tuchel sees him for England.

The best clubs in Premier League history always go and buy the top young talent if they’re on the market.

Rogers is one of those and if Arsenal miss out, it will feel like a missed opportunity.
