There is uncertainty surrounding the futures of a number of Arsenal stars this summer.
As Andrea Berta looks to strengthen Mikel Arteta’s squad and end the club’s trophy drought next season, departures from the Emirates Stadium are inevitable as the club look to balance their books.
Arsenal signed Kepa Arrizabalaga in a £5m deal but have already confirmed that the likes of Kieran Tierney and Jorginho have left North London. Thomas Partey has also failed to agree a new contract.
Bayern Munich are interested in Gabriel Martinelli and the Brazilian’s future is under much discussion at the club with the prospect of attacking reinforcements coming through the door. Pundit Ally McCoist has made a bold claim on the transfer scenario.

Ally McCoist doesn’t think Gabriel Martinelli will join Bayern Munich
Speaking to talkSPORT, McCoist has claimed that he doesn’t see Martinelli joining Bayern Munich this summer.
The winger has not hit his usual heights during the last two seasons and with interest in Rodrygo and Eberechi Eze, there is a feeling the Gunners could cash in on the 23-year-old.
McCoist stated: “I don’t know why, I just don’t see Martinelli in a Bayern Munich strip. I might be totally wrong… The only real starter they’ve got in that front line is Saka, really isn’t it in this moment in time.
“They don’t have an out-and-out centre-forward that they need to get, Martinelli has been out on the left hand side, Trossard has been on that left hand side.”
Martinelli needs a conversation with Arteta to clarify his future at the club but with no incomings in an attacking sense yet, McCoist is right that the Brazilian is still central to Arsenal’s plans going forward.
Bayern Munich interest in Gabriel Martinelli will increase after failed Luis Diaz bid
Arsenal would consider a huge offer for Martinelli this summer and the chances of that coming from the German champions may have just increased.
Bayer have had an approach for Liverpool’s Luis Diaz rejected by Arne Slot and the club, leaving Martinelli as the next target.
Al-Nassr are also in the hunt for Martinelli and would be willing to pay £72.6m for the Brazilian – it would smash Arsenal’s record sale.
The Gunners are in no rush or need to sell Martinelli but should a suitable offer arrive that helps their own transfer plans, he could be the biggest name to depart this summer.
