Gabriel Jesus’ Arsenal career never truly became what many hoped it would.
When the Brazilian first arrived from Manchester City, he completely transformed Arsenal’s attack with his movement, pressing and link-up play. He made the Gunners look more aggressive, more confident and far more unpredictable in the final third.
However, injuries – especially the serious issue he suffered during the World Cup in Qatar – completely disrupted his momentum.
Now, with Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz both ahead of him in the pecking order, it feels like the right time for Arsenal and Jesus to part ways.

Andrea Berta sets £30m asking price to sell Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus
Arsenal are reportedly open to selling Jesus this summer as they continue reshaping their attack under Andrea Berta.
The Brazilian is no longer viewed as an untouchable starter at the Emirates.
Gyokeres has become the first-choice striker, while Havertz’s resurgence has further pushed Jesus down the hierarchy.
That has drastically reduced his playing time and raised serious doubts over his future.
Reports have even suggested Arsenal could consider offering Jesus in a swap deal to sign Julian Alvarez of Atletico Madrid.

Financially, a departure would also make sense. Jesus is one of Arsenal’s highest earners, taking home around £265,000 per week.
That is a huge salary for somebody who is no longer guaranteed to start regularly.
CaughtOffside have now claimed that Serie A clubs such as AC Milan and Juventus are believed to be interested, while a return to Brazil one day also remains possible.
Arsenal are said to have set an asking price of around £30 million for Jesus despite his injuries and reduced role.
Whether clubs actually agree to pay that remains to be seen, especially considering his wages and contract situation.
How much money should Arsenal demand to sell Gabriel Jesus this summer?

Andrea Berta already looks like a huge upgrade on Edu Gaspar
Even if Arsenal do not ultimately receive £30 million for Jesus, the important thing is that Berta is clearly starting negotiations from a position of strength.
That already feels very different to how Arsenal operated under Edu Gaspar. Far too many players left the club for disappointing fees – or no fees at all – during the Brazilian’s time in charge.
Mesut Ozil, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette all departed for free. Matteo Guendouzi, despite his talent and value at the time, was sold cheaply after his fallout with Arteta.
The same applies to players like Bernd Leno, Lucas Torreira, Rob Holding, Calum Chambers and Nicolas Pepe, where Arsenal rarely maximised value.
Berta setting a high asking price for Jesus sends a completely different message. It shows Arsenal are finally prepared to negotiate aggressively rather than simply rushing players out of the door.
That alone suggests Berta could be a massive upgrade on Edu when it comes to the business side of football.
