Negotiations between Paris Saint-Germain and Bradley Barcola have stalled over a new contract, which Arsenal must capitalise on.
Andrea Berta wants to sign a new attacker in the summer, and the Frenchman is one of the names on his list of targets.
Would Bradley Barcola be an upgrade on Arsenal’s left-wing? If not, who would be?
An eye-opening insight 🫣
The Gunners seem to be specifically looking at left wingers, which would make a move for Barcola even better, given his strengths on the left.
Arsenal’s left wing position has been a real weak spot over the last few months, but adding a talent like the 23-year-old could fix that.
Arsenal could pounce on Bradley Barcola’s PSG contract talks stalling
Bradley Barcola’s extension at PSG has not progressed and is starting to raise questions internally, according to L’Equipe.
PSG are keen to keep hold of Barcola; however, they have been unable to get the youngster to commit to a new deal.
The 23-year-old’s current deal runs until 2028, meaning in the summer his contract will have just two years remaining.
The French international is enjoying a great season in Paris, having produced 12 goals and seven assists in 39 matches.

But given their plethora of options and Barcola’s contract situation stalling, perhaps a sale could now be possible in the summer.
Arsenal are strongly interested in Barcola, and PSG could now be open to selling him if no agreement is reached by the summer.
Meanwhile, PSG are now keen on Gabriel Martinelli, which could further boost their hopes of signing the Frenchman this summer.
Senny Mayulu’s PSG contract talks have also stalled
Senny Mayulu is another player of interest to Arsenal, and the Gunners are believed to have made an offer for the teenager.
Just like Barcola, PSG contract talks have also stalled with the 19-year-old, and he could be another strong option for the Gunners.
Mayulu would be more of a prospect signing, with the Frenchman netting five goals and five assists this term, whilst Arsenal need ready-made talents.
Berta should be pushing out the boat to bring Barcola to the Emirates Stadium this summer, should he become available.
