Arsenal’s transfer deadline day is shaping up to be a quiet one for possible signings, but there are a few exits on the cards.

The Gunners are looking to add a forward to the ranks, but with Mathys Tel set to join Tottenham on loan for the season, the options remaining are limited.

While it may not be busy for incoming players at London Colney, there may well be a few exits coming.

With some Arsenal stars looking for a fresh start and others looking for more game time, the possibility of a move is on.

One transfer deadline day deal has already been announced, with a loan exit for a Hale End star.

Maldini Kacurri confirms Arsenal transfer exit

With plenty of loan moves on the cards, some of Arsenal’s Hale End academy stars have been looking for more senior minutes.

That includes Maldini Kacurri, who has been around the senior team for Mikel Arteta at times this season.

The defender made his debut in the Carabao Cup earlier this season, while he has featured in several different squads as well.

The time for the 19-year-old has come to gain some more experience though, not least in an awkward position to progress in at centre-back.

Arsenal confirmed that Kacurri has joined League Two outfit Bromley on loan for the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign.

The youngster spoke to the Bromley club website and revealed the thinking behind a move, which comes as a surprise return.

He said: “From when I was about ten-to-15, I was here with the Youth set-up. It’s a familiar place for me and I’m happy to be back.

“I was with Steve Aris. He’s a familiar face for me.”

It’s a big chance for Kacurri to prove his ability in the lower rungs of the EFL pyramid as he looks to progress even further.

Maldini Kacurri the next big Arsenal hope after Ayden Heaven exit

Kacurri isn’t the only exit from the academy that has been seen over the January transfer window so far.

Even in his own position, the youngster has seen Ayden Heaven leave Arsenal to join Manchester United in a huge deal.

The 18-year-old turned down the opportunity to sign a new deal with the Gunners, Arsenal Insider understands, which came as a potential blow.

Seeing that Heaven made some appearances in the senior team and was involved in the squad only compounded that.

However, with the defender now moved on, Kacurri could view it as an opportunity to claim the position for himself as the next up-and-coming centre-back after an impressive loan spell.
