Arsenal have reportedly added Viktor Gyokeres to a four-man striker shortlist, with Napoli star Victor Osimhen also named.
A world-class centre-forward is at the top of Arsenal’s summer plans this year with Mikel Arteta eager to bring in that player who can lead the line for the north London side for many years to come.
Over the past few weeks, a number of names have been thrown around, namely Osimhen and Brentford striker Ivan Toney, with Bologna youngster Joshua Zirkzee also a reported target.
Arsenal add 30-goal marksman Victor Gyokeres to summer shortlist

Yet according to the Daily Mail, Swedish international and Sporting Lisbon superstar Gyokeres has also been added to the list, along with the three aforementioned strikers.
Joining the Portuguese giants this summer from Coventry City, Gyokeres has been arguably the best forward in Europe this season outside a top-five league, with the 25-year-old already bagging 30 goals in all competitions.
Couple this sensational tally with 11 assists, and it’s no wonder why Arsenal are now interested in signing Gyokeres, with Chelsea also reportedly chasing the former Championship star.
Indeed, Arsenal have fallen into the trap before of signing an attacker based off one incredible season in the form of Nicolas Pepe, and the Gunners might be wise to avoid such a risk this summer with Gyokeres.
Arsenal need to be 100% certain on which striker they want to sign

One thing Arteta and sporting director Edu Gaspar have nailed in recent windows with Arsenal is landing the players the pair are 100% certain will add something to the squad.
From Declan Rice to Gabriel Jesus to David Raya, the duo have also set out their transfer plans with extreme precision with backup plans drawn up in case some thing goes wrong, look at Leandro Trossard and Jorginho, for example.
And this summer, Arteta and Edu won’t fall into the trap of signing a striker who has had a flash in the pan season, even if it means missing out on a player who has been as brilliant as Gyokeres this campaign.
