Arsenal star Aaron Ramsdale is set to complete an exit from the club before the transfer window slums shut on Friday.
The goalkeeper has been demoted to a backup option over the past season, with the incoming David Raya taking his place.
Ramsdale had originally taken the number one shirt for himself in 2021, usurping Bernd Leno to a place in the starting lineup following his move from Sheffield United.
The England international played a key role in helping the Gunners return to the top under Mikel Arteta, with several Premier League title challenges.
However, with the 26-year-old now playing as a backup, a transfer in the summer window now appears to be close.

Aaron Ramsdale to Southampton transfer agreed
With uncertainty surrounding the future of Ramsdale, it seems as though there is a clearer picture emerging of his next move.
According to Sky Sports, Premier League rivals Southampton have agreed a fee with Arsenal for the goalkeeper worth an initial £18million.
That could later rise to £25million for the shot-stopper, with negotiations continuing over the final details.
It moves a deal one step closer to being complete for the goalkeeper, who may finally be able to earn some first-team minutes again.
It would put an end to his stay at the Emirates Stadium, where he has amassed 89 appearances across all competitions with 99 goals conceded and 32 clean sheets.
Ramsdale cost Arsenal £24million to land from Sheffield United in 2021 and his services have been monitored by the likes of Wolves and Ajax.

Aaron Ramsdale transfer replacement at Arsenal
Arsenal already have a few possible options lined up to replace Ramsdale, should he secure a switch in the final hours of the transfer window.
One of those is Joan Garcia, who Arsenal have already agreed personal terms with ahead of a potential move.
The Espanyol shot-stopper is a promising young option who would provide cover for Raya and competition in the long-term.
Another youngster linked with Arsenal is Wigan’s Sam Tickle, who has appeared as another possible option this summer.
Wolves backup Dan Bentley has also been on the club’s radar in recent weeks.
It remains to be seen whether the Gunners will be able to make a move for any of those players before the end of the window, with time running out to secure a deal.
Plenty of it will depend on the future of Ramsdale though, who is edging closer to the exit door at the Emirates Stadium.
