While the majority of Arsenal’s business appears to be done in the summer transfer window, there are still a few more deals to be concluded.
Andrea Berta has worked hard to get some tough transfers over the line, with Arsenal making plenty of signings so far.
Eberechi Eze is the latest transfer completed by the Gunners, bringing a lifelong fan back to the Emirates Stadium.
For the Arsenal sporting director, it appeared as though attention would firmly switch towards any potential outgoings.
However, there are still opportunities to bolster the Hale End academy ranks, something that he is now seemingly doing.

Arsenal agree record transfer deal for Shamrock Rovers starlet Victor Ozhianvuna
The Arsenal academy has produced plenty of stars over the years, bringing through some of the best talent available in the country.
While plenty of that has come through their own system, there have been examples of the Gunners signing youngsters for the academy before bringing them through into the senior side.
Gabriel Martinelli is the best example of that, having joined from Ituano in Brazil, before spending some time with the academy and then the first team.
Arsenal look to be replicating that approach as The Athletic claims that the side have struck a deal to sign Shamrock Rovers youngster Victor Ozhianvuna.
It’s claimed that the deal will be a “record” transfer fee for an Irish club, the current one stands at £1.6 million, with a pre-contract now on the table.
A deal hasn’t been signed yet, but it is in place for the 16-year-old to join, which would become possible in January 2027.
A medical has been completed, with an expectation that a deal could be signed by next week.
It is likely to bolster the ranks available to academy chief Per Mertesacker, as Hale End strengthens once again.

Victor Ozhianvuna’s career so far
Victor Ozhianvuna is a midfielder who plays for the Irish side Shamrock Rovers, having made his debut for the senior side in 2025.
At 16 years old, he has already featured in the UEFA Conference League, while he has 15 senior appearances to his name with one goal scored.
So far, Ozhianvuna has featured in an attacking midfield role, as well as both flanks for his side.
The youngster has been part of the Irish national team at youth level, playing at under-15s, under-17s and most recently under-18s.
It remains to be seen just what he could become in senior football, but for the next year-and-a-half, that development will be left to Shamrock Rovers before he officially joins up with Arsenal.
