Arsenal are always looking for new recruits in the attacking area of the field and could be set for an eight-way battle over one of the Premier League’s rising stars.

The Gunners spent big in the summer to sign Viktor Gyokeres and up until now, his signing has been very much hit and miss.

Come the summer window, Mikel Arteta is bound to be keen on adding yet more strength and depth in attack.

And according to reports, Arsenal and Arteta’s search could take them to Bournemouth star Eli Junior Kroupi.

Any player scoring goals in the Premier League is going to attract attention from the big hitters and Kroupi is no different.

The Bournemouth forward has netted an impressive eight times this season in the Premier League and at just 19, appears to have the world at his feet.

Kroupi was signed by the Cherries for just £12m but according to TeamTalk, they already value him at £80m as a host of clubs, including Arsenal, look on.

Arsenal are named alongside big hitters like Liverpool, United and City, while Aston Villa and Newcastle are also thought to be keen.

Kroupi is set for new talks over fresh terms already, despite only arriving at Bournemouth a year ago.

Indeed, his teammate, Marcus Tavernier, has lauded the club even managing to sign the Frenchman.

“The club has done an amazing job to pick Kroupi up.

“That boy has an unbelievable future ahead of him and today he showed why he’s such a good talent in the world of football.”
