Ethan Nwaneri is expected to depart Arsenal this summer, given that the pathway in his position has now been fully blocked.
Nwaneri had a very underwhelming loan spell at Marseille, and Mikel Arteta does not seem to particularly fancy using him in the team.
If you could set Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly’s price tags, how much would you demand?
In better news, Nwaneri did receive a Premier League winners’ medal, having made six Premier League appearances last season for the Gunners.
It would be a massive shame to see the 19-year-old leave the Emirates Stadium this summer, given he was seen as one of the North London club’s brightest prospects.
Ethan Nwaneri is expected to leave Arsenal
Ethan Nwaneri will leave Arsenal this summer amid strong interest from Premier League clubs, according to Ben Jacobs.
Noni Madueke, Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze, Max Dowman, and potentially even Morgan Rogers are all ahead of him in the pecking order now.
Speaking to Latte Firm, Jacobs revealed: “I remember when Ethan Nwaneri signed his new deal, and there was a little bit of reticence from the player about his pathway and his minutes, but then, of course, he signed the new deal.
“When Nwaneri extended, he was told, ‘You’re going to get time on the right, and you’re going to get time through the centre’.
Now you look at the arrival of Noni Madueke, who can play on that right-hand side. You look at the arrival of Eberechi Eze, who was signed by Arsenal as number ten, and suddenly, Ethan Nwaneri is further down the pecking order.
💰 How much cash plus Viktor Gyokeres should Arsenal demand for Julian Alvarez?

“That will be even more apparent if Morgan Rogers arrives and gets opportunities through the centre.
“Obviously, with Max Dowman coming into the first team squad, one of the most exciting prospects in my opinion in all of world football.
“So, it will suit all parties now for Nwaneri to depart, and unfortunately for him, Arsenal’s pitch when he signed his new contract hasn’t quite lived up to the reality, so I expect him to go.”
Arsenal value Nwaneri at around £52 million, and selling him for such a fee would be a huge boost towards the club’s transfer plans.
