Arsenal have several top young talents at the club but are always keen on adding more, and they are keen on signing a wonderkid with serious potential.
Club captain Martin Odegaard is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League, and he has developed well at Arsenal after emerging as the most sought-after wonderkid in the world when he was just 15.
Odegaard joined Real Madrid despite offers from Arsenal and several other clubs, and he became the youngest player in the history of Los Blancos.
The Norway captain has inspired other talented midfielders in his country, and there is now a 17-year-old aiming to follow his path to success, and Arsenal are interested in signing him.

Arsenal interested in Rosenborg teenager Sverre Nypan
German outlet Fussball News has now reported that both Arsenal and Manchester United are keen on signing Sverre Nypan from Norweigan side Rosenborg.
Nypan is a 17-year-old attacking midfielder who has also played as a forward, and he has already clocked up 51 senior appearances.
He has scored 10 goals and provided 10 assists in that time, and he is attracting plenty of interest as one of the biggest talents in Norway.
Arsenal may be at a disadvantage, as he has previously admitted an admiration for Man United.
“For me, a dream would come true if I could play for Manchester United. I know that the club has expressed interest,” Nypan once claimed.
Arsenal are now keen on signing Nypan, but despite fans’ desire to see another attacking player arrive before the transfer window closes on Friday, he will not be able to join just yet.
Arsenal cannot sign Sverre Nypan until January 2025
Given that Nypan is just 17, he cannot complete a transfer until January 2025, at which point he will be 18. However, Arsenal could still agree to sign him in advance.
If Nypan does join, Arsenal may be tempted to loan him back out, or keep him in the squad as a rotational midfield option alongside Ethan Nwaneri.
Arsenal’s squad is a lot thinner now that Emile Smith Rowe and Fabio Vieira have departed, and whilst Nypan is far from proven, he is a huge talent who could end up becoming a superstar under Mikel Arteta, and he will be able to learn from Odegaard whilst also providing cover for him.
