Arsenal are expected to be very busy in the summer transfer window.
Andrea Berta has come in as the new sporting director, and the Italian has a lot of work to do – with both, incomings and outgoings.
The priority will be a new striker and a wide player, but Arsenal will need midfielders too as Thomas Partey and Jorginho could both leave the club.
Martin Zubimendi is one big-name target, and the Gunners have now been linked with a cheaper option ahead of the summer window.
Arsenal eye bargain move to sign Piotr Zielinski
Piotr Zielinski only joined Inter Milan last summer.
The Poland international left Napoli after eight years there and decided to join the Nerazzurri on a free transfer before the start of this season.
That was a controversial move in Italy, and unfortunately for the 30-year-old midfielder, things haven’t quite worked out.
Zielinski has started just six games in the Serie A this season, and Inter Live have revealed that the defending Italian champions are ready to let him go this summer.
What’s surprising in the report is that it has been claimed that Arsenal are ready to ‘bet hard’ to sign the Pole, who has been a target for the North London club in the past.
It has further been revealed that the potential offer from Arsenal is expected to be around £12 million, which would be too much for Inter to turn down for a player whom they signed for nothing last year.
Zielinski is currently injured and isn’t expected to be back until May. His deal at the San Siro lasts until the summer of 2028.

What Jurgen Klopp thinks about Piotr Zielinski
Zielinski has been linked with a move to the Premier League on many occasions in the past.
Liverpool were widely reported to be keen to sign the Pole when Jurgen Klopp was at the helm, and the German apparently even flew him out on a private jet to hold talks with him.
That’s according to Zielinski himself, who also claimed that Klopp compared him to Premier League winners Cesc Fabregas and Ilkay Gundogan.
The midfielder told Foot Truck in October 2024: “Jurgen Klopp invited me to his house. Liverpool sent a private jet to pick me up.
“I was shocked because it was the first time I travelled on that means of transport. When we landed, we took the bus to go to Klopp’s. It was a building, he had everything there.
“The conversation was great. Klopp told me that I am a mix between Fabregas and Gundogan in his opinion.
“I didn’t understand anything, but my agent spoke German and told me everything. When we were leaving, I managed to take a picture with Klopp.”
Unfortunately for Zielinski and Klopp, a move did not materialise.
