Arsenal could be set for a busy day as the January transfer deadline looms with the Gunners actively looking to do business both in and out of the club.
Arsenal will be looking to add a forward option ahead of the January transfer deadline day but a move for Ollie Watkins is now looking highly unlikely.
The Gunners are on a high after their crushing 5-1 victory over Pep Guardiola’s side, David Raya was integral to the win over Man City despite the headlines being around the five different goalscorers.
Now attentions turn to the transfer window and it seems that a young defender, who was given his senior debut in the Carabao Cup by Mikel Arteta this season, could be set for a loan away from the club.

Arsenal defender Maldini Kacurri set for loan to League Two side Bromley
Maldini Kacurri is a Hale End graduate who made his senior debut against Bolton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup earlier this season.
The Albanian defender has made 13 appearances for the Arsenal U21 side this season and is now set for a loan move to Bromley according the The Athletic.
A loan move to Bromley would give the 19-year-old defender the chance to gain some first team experience at a competitive level.
Bromley currently sit in mid table in League Two, therefore it is likely that opportunities will come the way of Kacurri as there is no pressure on the club in terms of survival from the division.
Emile Smith-Rowe benefited from a loan move to Huddersfield Town
Past Arsenal academy players have benefited from spending time in the EFL with a loan spell, most notably that of Emile Smith-Rowe.
Smith-Rowe played 19 times for Huddersfield Town in the Championship scoring two goals in his time there before breaking into the Arsenal first team the following season.

Kacurri will be hoping to take inspiration from Smith-Rowe in order to learn his trade in the EFL and then break into Arteta’s plans upon returning to the Emirates Stadium next season.
The Albanian defender may not be the only player heading out on loan before the transfer deadline and senior football is a real learning curve in a young player’s development.
