Arsenal have held talks about signing Bouaddi, and they are even willing to accept Lille’s terms to get him.
TeamTalk have revealed that the Ligue 1 giants want their star midfielder to stay and help them in the Champions League next season.
That demand has been accepted by Arsenal, but they aren’t the only club.
The report claims that Chelsea and Manchester City are prepared to agree to that term as well in order to sign him.
It now remains to be seen which club Bouaddi will end up choosing.
Ayyoub Bouaddi could follow in William Saliba’s footsteps at Arsenal
There are similarities between this Bouaddi deal and the one Arsenal struck to sign William Saliba back in 2019.
The demand from Saint-Etienne was an immediate loan-back at the time, and the Gunners agreed just to get the deal over the line.
Now, Saliba is one of the best defenders in world football.
Bouaddi could follow in the same footsteps if Arsenal sign him and loan him back to Lille for the first season.
