Arsenal are exploring the January transfer market to recruit a new attacker this month.
Pressure is on Mikel Arteta and those above him to produce a new signing before the end of the January transfer window.
Arsenal’s attacking depth is inadequate, as has been noticeable since Bukayo Saka’s hamstring injury.
With the Hale End graduate set to be out for the foreseeable future, the time is now for Arsenal to act in the transfer market.

Arsenal transfer news: Yeremay Hernandez linked
The Gunners are not short of links to attackers in the transfer window, with Arsenal continuing to eye Nico Williams.
While it’s unlikely that Arteta will sign his primary target this month, it’s said that Arsenal will look to sign Williams regardless of January activity.
The summer is already shaping up to be a thriller in N5, but what about now?
Williams isn’t the only Spanish winger to be catching Arteta’s eye, according to reports coming from Spain.
La Opinion A Coruna have reported Arsenal’s interest in Deportivo La Coruna winger Yeremay Hernandez, a 22-year-old forward playing in Spain’s second tier.
The Spaniard only signed a contract extension at Deportivo in April 2024 although, his £25m release clause is rather appealing.
Deportivo do not want to sell Hernandez for anything lower than his release clause price, with Arsenal one of the clubs said to be ‘hot’ on his trail.
Newcastle, Chelsea, Manchester United, Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth and Brentford were also listed as having interest in the highly rated talent.
Would Yeremay Hernandez be a good fit for Arsenal?
A right-footed left-winger, Hernandez could certainly suit the void that Arteta is looking to fill, being capable of providing competition to Gabriel Martinelli and, possibly replacing Saka.
In 17 appearances in La Liga 2 this season, the Spaniard has contributed to 10 goals, scoring seven and assisting three, being a real leader in his team.
What’s most impressive about the 22-year-old is his dribbling ability, with FBref citing that the forward averages a staggering 4.24 successful take-ons per 90, significantly more than both Saka (2.34) and Martinelli (1.54).
For a quick solution, Hernandez certainly fits the bill and, being only 22, the winger could be one for the future at the Emirates, in what is an interesting transfer link.
