Arsenal’s hunt for a striker has seen them linked with plenty of different options in the January transfer window, with fresh names appearing on their radar.
Mikel Arteta has come in for questioning over the past few seasons, with the lack of clinical centre-forwards at the club.
There have been rumours linking the club with Alexander Isak and Benjamin Sesko, along with a host of other players.
Among those is Matheus Cunha, the Wolves forward who was seemingly set to sign a deal at the club, but there could be a twist.
With Arsenal in the market, the Brazilian could now be set for a potential switch.

Arsenal make contact over Matheus Cunha transfer
Matheus Cunha looked set to sign a new contract at Wolves, but the deal so far has seemingly stalled over a confirmation.
That decision may have ruled the Brazilian out of a possible transfer, but there is a potential twist on the cards.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Cunha has verbally agreed financial terms over a new deal with Wolves, but there are still discussions held over release clauses.
It’s claimed that the striker is open to leaving for the right opportunity in the future, while Arsenal are in contact informally with the player’s camp.
That could open up the possibility of a move, though a sale in January remains unlikely heading into the final stage of the season.
It remains to be seen if Cunha is the answer for Arsenal, but the contract talks could offer a possible twist.

Matheus Cunha compared to Arsenal star Martin Odegaard
In the past, Cunha has been compared to one Arsenal star with club captain Martin Odegaard and his performances.
Speaking earlier in the season, former Wolves boss Martin O’Neil said: “I love working with him [Cunha].
“His talent is incredible, obviously. But if you watch the top players, they’re able to do it week in week out. Watch people like Bernardo Silva, Martin Odegaard.
“They’re all top with or without the ball and Matheus, the numbers he’s producing at the minute are up there with everybody.”
While it’s high praise, it perhaps hint at the fact that he is more likely to play as an all-round forward rather than the clinical box striker that the side needs.
