Arsenal are set to be boosted by the return of four stars in the coming weeks, following an injury crisis in the squad this season.
The Gunners have been suffering from plenty of key absences so far during the campaign, leading to a loss of form and a lack of consistency in team selection.
So far, it has proven a big challenge for Mikel Arteta to contend with as the manager looks to maximise results and fitness.
For Arsenal though, there have been struggles and the need for additions, via either injury returns or transfers, was made clear by recent substitute options.
Fortunately, though, it seems as though the injury concerns are set to ease over the coming weeks.

Arsenal set for injury returns with Ethan Nwaneri, Ben White, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Riccardo Calafiori
Arsenal’s injury crisis could be nearing an end, with the side already suffering with plenty of recent absences.
Bukayo Saka has a long-term hamstring injury, while Gabriel Jesus is out through an ACL, which is set to keep them out for a while.
However, beyond them, it appears as though some returns could be on the cards in the near future.
That’s because, according to the Telegraph, all four of Ben White, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Ethan Nwaneri and Riccardo Calafiori are set to be back in the squad soon.
Ben White has been out of action following knee surgery in November, while Takehiro Tomiyasu has been suffering with knee issues of his own.
Riccardo Calafiori has been battling some minor muscle problems, alongside Ethan Nwaneri who picked up a hamstring injury.
With all four nearing a return, it comes as a boost to Mikel Arteta, who may have more options to call upon.
There awaits some official confirmation on exactly when the quadruple will return, while William Saliba is injured and likely to miss the next two weeks.

Arsenal injury boost in time for key fixtures
While most of the returns come for those in the defensive ranks, the addition of Nwaneri will add another attacking body to the side.
The injury boosts come ahead of a crucial run of games for Arteta and his squad across three different competitions.
Champions League games ahead will be vital, with Arsenal looking to book their place into the round of 16 – avoiding an extra two play-off games along the way.
The Premier League title race is hanging by a thread but still possible, with some big fixtures coming up around the corner.

Meanwhile, it’s crunch time in the Carabao Cup as Arsenal face Newcastle in the semi-final second leg at St. James’ Park, looking to overturn a two-goal deficit to book a place in the final.
It’s fair to say that it is a run that could define the season for Arsenal, with silverware still a possibility but with a big push needed.
