Arsenal have been linked with a lot of attacking players in this summer window, as there is a need to add more firepower and speed to the squad.
Mikel Arteta’s side scored a lot last season, but fell just short of Manchester City in the title race. A game-changing attacker, who can add speed in transition, cover both wings and provide additional goal threat, would be the ideal signing for Arsenal.
Arteta was keen on Nico Williams, but the Spain star has elected to stay at Athletic Bilbao, whilst long-term target Pedro Neto is now moving from Wolves to Chelsea.
With Chelsea signing Neto, they may now need to let go of some players from their inflated squad, and some Arsenal fans are open to the idea of Arteta signing his former target in Mykhalyo Mudryk.
However, former Premier League striker Darren Bent has now claimed that there is a different Chelsea attacker Arsenal should sign, and it is a player Arteta is very familiar with.

Darren Bent encourages Arsenal to sign Raheem Sterling from Chelsea
Speaking on TalkSPORT, Bent claimed that despite Sterling’s struggles for Chelsea, he could add a lot to Arsenal’s attack.
“He is only 29, which means there’s more in him. I think I will take him at Arsenal, you know?” Bent stated of Sterling.
“I am not saying he starts every game, but to have Sterling on the left. He is only 29. People talk about Sterling like he is 35.”
Sterling was incredible at Manchester City, scoring 131 goals in 339 games as one of the best wingers in the Premier League, but departed for Chelsea two years ago.
Since then, he has scored 19 and assisted 12 times in 81 games, failing to hit his best form and losing his place in the England squad as a result.
Mikel Arteta worked with Raheem Sterling at Manchester City

Sterling’s best form at City came when Arteta was Pep Guardiola’s assistant, and the Englishman previously praised him.
“He’s a person that had a lot of say here,” Sterling stated of Arteta in 2020.
“The manager trusted him here and he had a lot of influence on the players here and the team as well.
“You can see the change that he’s brought in there, you can see the energy, you can see how much he’s put into them with their off-ball work,” the City forward added.
“We all knew before Mikel got in how much good football they could play, how technically good they were but probably off the field they weren’t as aggressive as they are with Mikel.
Despite Sterling’s excellence in the past, his high wages of around £325k-a-week, as well as his poor recent form, means that he may not be suitable for Arsenal now, and it also remains to be seen whether Chelsea would be willing to let him join the Gunners cheaply.
