Recent reports have indicated that Serie A giants Juventus are keen on signing Arsenal starlet Charlie Patino.
Patino is currently on loan at Championship side Swansea City, and has thrived in his 17 appearances this season, scoring three and assisting four times.
Rumours out of Italy have named Patino as a potential makeweight in two unlikely swap deals, with Salernitana’s Boulaye Dia and Juventus’ Moise Kean touted as potential striking options who can head to the Emirates in exchange.
Charlie Patino price tag mooted ahead of potential swap deal
Italian market intermediary Michele Fratini has now claimed that Arsenal’s asking price for Patino is around £25.8m, and could even be as low as £17m if bonuses are included in a swap deal for Kean.
“Patino? He’s kind of in everyone’s notebook, among the 50 strongest youngsters in the world. I don’t know if Rabiot will stay at Juve,” he stated via Tuttojuve.
“Patino is left-footed like him and Giuntoli wants to bring the strongest talents around to give quality in the midfield. As for the price, the Gunners are asking for around €30m, maybe €20m fixed with €10m in bonuses.
“But Juventus have some bargaining chips, first of all Moise Kean. It’s true that his first experience in the Premier League with Everton didn’t go well, but now he is recovering and could be the striker Arsenal are looking for to complete the offensive department. Juve would like to make the lunge as early as January.”
Arsenal should not swap Charlie Patino for Moise Kean

Kean has failed to score in 12 appearances this season, and the striker previously struggled at Everton before returning to Italy. Whilst Arsenal have been linked with several centre-forwards, they may be more keen on adding a prolific goalscorer to the squad than someone in poor form like the 23-year-old.
Patino is highly rated at the Emirates, although an exit cannot be ruled out given the competition for places in the Arsenal midfield.
Next season could be make or break for his chances under Mikel Arteta, but the likeliest outcome for now would be that he completes his loan spell at Swansea and returns for pre-season in the summer.
Arsenal may only consider an offer for the Hale End gem if he pushes for a move and a big bid is received. Juventus are unlikely to reach their asking price without a swap, and Kean is not a player Arteta is likely to be interested in.
