Arsenal now want to sign two players from the same Premier League club in huge double deal

Arsenal sporting director Edu Gaspar seems to have a transfer plan in place for the 2025 summer window already.

The Gunners signed five players this summer – David Raya, Mikel Merino and Riccardo Calafiori joined on permanent deals, while Raheem Sterling and Neto were brought in on loan.

Those signings have made Arsenal stronger than they already were, but there is definitely still room for improvement.

That’s probably why Edu and Mikel Arteta are eyeing a double deal to sign two players from one of their Premier League rivals.

Arsenal want to sign Antoine Semenyo and Milos Kerkez

Arteta has built a really strong squad at Arsenal.

The Gunners have top-class players in almost every position on the pitch, and that’s why they have been challenging for the Premier League title.

If there’s one complaint Arsenal fans have about their squad, it’s that they don’t have a quality right-winger to provide cover for Bukayo Saka.

That has been the case for a while now and it has led to Saka playing almost every minute of every game, which is not ideal at all.

To add to that, there’s a possibility that Oleksandr Zinchenko, Jakub Kiwior and Kieran Tierney will all leave the club in one of the next two transfer windows.

That would leave Arsenal a bit short of options at left-back.

Arteta and Edu have a plan to address that issue, and CaughtOffside reveal that Arsenal are eyeing a double move for Bournemouth duo Antoine Semenyo and Milos Kerkez.

It has been claimed that the Cherries value the two players at a combined €80 million (£67m). Arsenal, however, are unlikely to meet those demands, claims the report.

Arsenal should make one small change to their Semenyo plan

Both Semenyo and Kerkez are quality players and are capable of doing a job as backups at Arsenal.

Semenyo, who scored against Arsenal in pre-season, is someone we are particularly excited about. The Ghana international has been a joy to watch at Bournemouth, for whom he has already scored three times this season.

Arsenal are not wrong to target him, but the one change they should consider is to try and sign him in January instead of the summer.

Saka appears to have suffered an injury now, but even if he has not, it’s about time Arteta and Edu bring in a proper backup to give him the rest he needs.

We hope that can be sorted in January, and Semenyo would be a great option.
