Arsenal have been offered a possible move for a striker ahead of the January transfer window, if recent reports are to be believed.

Mikel Arteta has been on the hunt for a new centre-forward in recent markets but has so far failed to land the right option.

While there are some versatile options within the squad, Arsenal are still looking for a clinical option to offer them something different.

It may be tough to land the right player in January, however, one player has seemingly become available heading into the transfer window.

Arsenal offered Randal Kolo Muani transfer chance

Ahead of the January transfer window, one star who is now seemingly available is PSG’s Randal Kolo Muani.

The Frenchman joined Les Parisiens back in 2023, with a fee worth roughly £76.4million sealing a switch from Eintracht Frankfurt.

Since that move, he has struggled for a run of matches though, starting just a few in Ligue 1 so far this season.

With uncertainty surrounding his future, a report from CaughtOffside claims that Arsenal have been offered a loan for Kolo Muani for the January transfer window.

The forward is capable of playing as a striker or on both flanks if required, though the Gunners won’t be alone if they are to show some interest.

The report adds that Newcastle, West Ham, Manchester United, Juventus, Napoli and Borussia Dortmund have all looked at a move.

What Kylian Mbappe has said about Randal Kolo Muani

With Kolo Muani linked with a potential move to the Emirates Stadium, there may be some question marks over how good he really is.

At times, the forward has been a key member for the French national team and has proven to be quite the handful for defenders.

Since his move to PSG though, his struggles in stringing together matches put some doubt over his quality.

Kylian Mbappe has perhaps said it best though, speaking back in 2023 about the star and saying: “He is a striker who offers different game options to our team.

“He is very complete and has an impressive volume of play. We are happy with the game he played on Friday and I hope he scores tomorrow. Tomorrow we will try to get him to score a goal.”

It’s unclear if a move would be possible for Arsenal, but it could be one that makes the difference in January.
