Arsenal are ‘keeping tabs’ on Leicester City playmaker Bilal El Khannouss ahead of a potential summer move, Arsenal Insider understands.
El Khannouss has impressed this season for the Foxes despite their relegation from the Premier League.
It is well documented that Arsenal will be busy this summer as they look to end their trophy drought and Mikel Arteta’s message to Andrea Berta over needing more firepower is clear.
A winger and a centre forward are said to be Arsenal’s priority positions but given Martin Odegaard’s recent slump in form, El Khannouss could represent an excellent market opportunity.

Arsenal stance on Bilal El Khannouss revealed
Viktor Gyokeres is close to signing for Arsenal as their hunt for a centre forward looks set to come to a promising close.
Martin Zubimendi’s imminent arrival is a clear show of intention from Berta and there will be more incomings at the Emirates Stadium.
TBR Football’s transfer correspondent Graeme Bailey has told Arsenal Insider that El Khannouss is another player of interest to the club this summer.
Bailey stated: “Bilal El Khannouss is a player that not dissimilar to Rodrygo is a player they know well and have been watching him for a long time. He is a huge talent and they are keeping tabs on his situation.
“He would represent an intriguing option for them.”
What Bilal El Khannouss would bring to Arsenal
Arteta has been desperate for ways to open up teams that set up with a low block against his side this season and El Khannouss would provide a solution to that problem.
His ability to carry the ball past players in transitions, as well as excellent ball striking, are options that Odegaard fails to give this current Arsenal side.

The Moroccan has been part of a struggling Leicester side but has shone with his creativity and unpredictability – something again that Arteta has been craving this season.
At 20 years of age, he will have a lot to learn and will play second fiddle to Odegaard to begin with but he is a player of huge potential if the Gunners can persuade him to move to North London.
