Speaking about joining Palmeiras, the Arsenal forward told ESPN: “I think about it every day, I follow it. I watched yesterday’s game, unfortunately, we lost [to Cerro Porteño].
It’s my dream, I’ve already made it clear that one day I’ll come back, I just don’t know when, if it’s today, tomorrow, then I think about it every day.
“The future belongs to God, it’s a club I have a lot of affection for, I’m a passionate fan, I’ve said a lot and my option when I return to Brazil will always be Palmeiras.”
Those comments will naturally spark speculation about Jesus’ future, especially with Arsenal expected to reshape parts of their attack again this summer.
