Arsenal have been urged to push for a Premier League striker this summer who would cost more than Manchester United forward Rasmus Hojlund.
The Gunners have made signing a centre-forward a top priority this summer, with Arsenal strongly linked with a move for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, before the Slovenian committed his long-term future to the Bundesliga side.
With Arsenal still linked with the likes of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, and Sweden international Viktor Gyokeres, the north London side are seemingly keen to spend a good amount on a big-name striker this summer.
And the Gunners have now been told that they should go all out to sign one name from the Premier League.

Arsenal told £80m move for Ivan Toney could be worth it
Speaking to the Athletic, an unknown agent shared his thoughts on Ivan Toney’s valuation this summer, with the Brentford star believed to be worth £80m given his Premier League record and that the striker is in the prime of his career.
Stating that the striker is more valuable than United’s Hojlund, Toney has been linked with Arsenal in recent weeks, and the Gunners have now been urged to make a move for the 28-year-old forward this summer.

The agent said about Toney’s valuation this summer: “Having one year left on his contract is not so significant. One year scoring goals is worth an awful lot of money to the big clubs — that could be the difference between qualifying for Europe or not.
“If he had three years left on his contract, he is a £100m player. If you allow for some kind of discount, he is worth £75m to £80m. If I was holding the purse strings at Arsenal or Chelsea, I would be comfortable paying that price and saying we have got fair value. Manchester United paid £64m for Hojlund, and Toney is worth more than that.”

Gunners would be bonkers to spend £80m on Toney this summer
Links to Toney have dried up somewhat for Arsenal, with the north London side seemingly moving on from the Brentford man after an underwhelming return to Premier League action with Brentford last season.
And with agents now suggesting that £80m would be a good fee for Toney, Arsenal would be bonkers to follow through with this suggestion, especially with who else the Gunners have been linked to this summer.
Indeed, Arsenal are aware of what sort of striker they want to sign this window, and based off Toney’s form in the last 12 months as well as his rumoured asking price, there could not be a more less appealing candidate in the market than the Brentford man.
