Gabriel Jesus is now strongly considering a move away from Arsenal in the summer; however, his focus remains firmly on winning a trophy in N5 first.

Initially, Jesus was keen to stay at Arsenal until 2027, when his contract is up; however, the striker recently changed agents ahead of the summer window.

But right now, his full focus remains on helping Arsenal win the Premier League and Champions League in the final few months of the season.

The striker has not been in his best form over the last few weeks, but the Gunners are going to need to draw on his experience, having previously been involved in successful title bids.

Gabriel Jesus is ready to assess his Arsenal future

Gabriel Jesus is ready to assess his Arsenal future this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano, but not before the end of the season.

The 28-year-old loves Arsenal and is desperate to help bring one of the major titles to the Emirates Stadium this season.

Romano told his YouTube channel: “I just wanted to clarify something around in Italy about the name of Gabriel Jesus. Jesus decided to go with a new agent a few weeks ago. It was at the beginning of 2026.

“So the decision by Gabriel Jesus was to start assessing his future with a different agency. Then he’s under contract with Arsenal till 2027.”

Jesus will not be thinking about a move away until the season is done, with so much still to play for in North London.

“But I can guarantee to you that at this stage, despite all the stories from Italy, the player is completely focused on trying to win something with Arsenal this season,” he added.

“Gabriel is really obsessed with that. He wants to win with Arsenal. He loves Arsenal, and he really wants to get titles this season.

“Then in the summer, but not now, not in April, and I don’t think it’s going to be also in May. It’s going to be something for the end of the season, ahead of the summer transfer window.

“Gabriel Jesus could assess proposals in case of good bids for summer 2026. So, he could leave Arsenal one year before the expiration of his contract. That’s a possibility, but it’s not something that Gabriel Jesus is actively searching for now.

“He wants to fight to win titles with Arsenal, and then in the summer, the possibility for his exit could become concrete, but again, a player now wants to focus on the pitch.”

Jesus, who cost Arsenal £45 million, is now entering the final few months at the club, and he has the chance to leave as a hero.
