With the January transfer window now in the history books, Arsenal will be disappointed by the lack of business they conducted.
The Gunners were in the market to add a forward to their ranks, with a late bid for Ollie Watkins rejected by Aston Villa.
In the end, there were no arrivals, while very few exits were made, meaning that suspense is building over the possible moves in the summer.
Arsenal could finally land that striker they want, while links over a winger and a midfielder continue to build – along with possible moves away for some stars.
Speaking to Arsenal Insider, TBR Football’s transfer expert Graeme Bailey discussed the upcoming summer transfer window and plans for the side.

Arsenal’s chances of striker transfer addition
It’s been one of the worst-kept secrets in football that Arsenal need a striker and there have been plenty of links.
However, as far as moves go, the Gunners are still waiting for one to go through to add that clinical edge they’ve been lacking.
While Alexander Isak has been one option linked, so too have the likes of Benjamin Sesko, Ollie Watkins and Viktor Gyokeres.
On the possibility of Arsenal finally getting that centre-forward they need, Bailey said: “Before the start of next season, I firmly believe that Arsenal will have a new central striker, and quite possibly another forward or winger.
“Isak or Sesko – at this point I would be surprised if one of those two are not in Arsenal colours next season.”
It remains to be seen if either are likely to make such a move in the months ahead, with some big funds likely needed for them.

Arsenal transfer exit chances
As is the case with the transfer window, there is the possibility of some exits within the squad to help refresh the options available.
For Arsenal, there could be some huge names leaving the club for squad churn but also as contracts near their end.
On possible moves away, Bailey said: “They are going to do work – and I think we might see a mini-overhaul with the likes of Jorginho, Partey, Tierney, Zinchenko and Trossard amongst those who could very well leave.”
The trio of Jorginho, Thomas Partey and Kieran Tierney are nearing the end of their deals, which could allow them to leave for free in the summer.
Meanwhile, the duo of Oleksandr Zinchenko and Leandro Trossard were linked with exits over the January window.
