Kingsley Coman could leave Bayern Munich before Transfer Deadline Day.
Arsenal will now be on red alert as the future of Kingsley Coman hangs in the balance.
Arsenal have been linked with Coman, after it was suggested that the French winger is keen to move on from the German giants.
The Daily Mail have now reported that Arsenal’s interest in the player is real. However, Mikel Arteta may well find that he faces competition for the 28-year-old winger’s signature, and may struggle to meet his £300,000-per-week wage demands.
The attacker is a major star who has proven himself at the very highest level, having won numerous trophies with PSG, Juventus, and Bayern Munich over the course of his career so far, including the 2019/20 Champions League.
It would appear that the 57-cap France international is ready for a new challenge, and he will be conscious of the fact that he is yet to test his mettle in the Premier League.
If it is the case that Coman is keen on a switch, and that the Gunners are open to securing his services, then Arsenal fans won’t have to wait long for progress to be made on said deal.

Bayern Munich waiting on Arsenal target Kingsley Coman
According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, reporting on X: “Coman has not made a decision yet whether he will join Al-Hilal or not.”
The Saudi Arabian club are also eyeing a swoop for the forward, as well as Arsenal.
Plettenberg then added: “FC Bayern hope for a decision within the next few hours in order to move forward with other personnel matters.”
After all, every transfer decision needs to be made quickly at this stage, with the transfer window set to close on Friday.
If Arsenal are in the race for Coman, then they may well struggle to compete with Al-Hilal when it comes to the personal terms they are able to offer.
However, the promise of Premier League football and the chance to join Arteta’s upwardly mobile squad may prove enough to tempt Coman into making the switch to the Emirates Stadium.
Do Arsenal need a winger?
It could easily be argued that the Gunners currently lack strength in depth in the wide areas.
Ian Wright has urged Arsenal to find cover for Bukayo Saka. Whilst Reiss Nelson currently provides this support, it is clear that the manager lacks faith in the Hale End academy graduate.
What’s more, Fulham now want to sign Nelson, meaning that Arsenal’s options in this part of the pitch could soon be depleted further.
However, Coman is not necessarily the right fit for Arsenal, and there are perhaps preferable options on the market.
Nico William has been deemed a dream target for Arsenal to chase, though it would be tricky to get a deal done for the Athletic Bilbao star.
