BBC pundit Stephen Kelly has named the one striker who will help Arsenal after the defeat against Liverpool tonight.
The Gunners were knocked out of the FA Cup after a frustrating performance against Liverpool. Our need for a striker became very clear tonight, and Kelly believes Ivan Toney is the man who can solve our issues.

Ivan Toney will help this Arsenal side
You can’t blame Mikel Arteta for Arsenal‘s defeat tonight – his tactics helped us create plenty of chances, but the players didn’t take any of them.
Kai Havertz started up front for us tonight after Gabriel Jesus was declared unfit. The German had a really good game in terms of his movement and positioning, but he didn’t do the most important thing – score goals.
Arsenal were so good up until the final third that Havertz could’ve scored a hat-trick today. We should’ve been out of sight in the first half, but we squandered all our chances.
Mikel Arteta begged Arsenal fans to stay behind the team when he was asked about signing a new striker this month. That’s a fair request, but we still do need a new number nine.
Stephen Kelly believes Ivan Toney is the man who can help us finish our chances.
Speaking about Luis Diaz’s goal, Kelly said on BBC Sport: “Another counter-attack, one touch and bang! No hesitation before Luis Diaz hits it, Liverpool do look dangerous when they get the ball but Arsenal on the other hand looked for the perfect goal.
“Ivan Toney would help this Arsenal team!”

A new striker is all Arsenal need
If Stan Kroenke gave £300 million to Mikel Arteta, we’re sure the Arsenal boss would strengthen three or four different areas of the pitch.
However, our recent performances have shown that if we just had a striker who would finish off the chances we create, we would win almost every game. That tells you what position we should strengthen this month.
Ivan Toney has been dividing opinions over the last few weeks because of his age and the fact that he hasn’t played any football for over six months now. However, if he was playing for us tonight, we’re sure he would’ve scored at least one goal, if not more.
We don’t know what Edu and Arteta are going to do in the coming weeks, but if they can’t find a solution, our season could be over in about a month.
