Arsenal confirm Christian Norgaard transfer from Brentford

Arsenal have officially confirmed the signing of Christian Norgaard from Brentford in a deal that Arsenal Insider understands could be worth up to £15 million.

The move has accelerated quickly in recent weeks, as Andrea Berta looked to secure the Danish international.

Arsenal Insider revealed that Norgaard was impacted by Thomas Frank’s exit to Tottenham, which opened up a possible move.

With Norgaard now at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal can start to plan for pre-season with him going forward.

The 31-year-old previously had spells at Brondby and Fiorentina before moving to the Premier League, where he has been a stalwart for Brentford.

He is the third signing of the summer for Arsenal, with Martin Zubimendi and Kepa Arrizabalaga already confirmed.
