Arsenal remain interested in signing Eberechi Eze this summer, despite already adding six players to Mikel Arteta’s squad.
The Gunners have significantly bolstered their ensemble, acquiring the likes of Viktor Gyokeres, Martin Zubimendi and Noni Madueke, all of whom are expected to play a major role at the Emirates next season.
That said, many feel the left-hand side of Arsenal’s attack could do with strengthening, with the likes of Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli flattering to deceive in recent times.
Eze has been identified as the top target, although the North Londoners would have to outlay in excess of £60 million to secure the England international’s services.

Crystal Palace identify Bilal El Khannouss as Eberechi Eze replacement amid Arsenal rumours
Arsenal view Eze as a number ten, and are reportedly not sure where he’d fit into their squad.
Despite these concerns, all reports indicate that the Gunners remain extremely keen on landing the 27-year-old this summer, and they may have just been handed a huge boost in their pursuit.
According to journalist Santi Aouna, Palace have identified Leicester City’s Bilal El Khannouss as their first choice replacement for Eze, if the former QPR man departs.
The Moroccan managed to stand out in a dire Foxes’ side last term, netting three goals and providing five assists from midfield across all competitions.
Arsenal were linked with El Khannouss earlier this summer, although the Gunners likely deemed the player not ready to make an impact for a side with title aspirations.
Instead, Palace view the attacking midfielder as an astute replacement for Eze.
Given Leicester have been relegated to the Championship, a deal for El Khannouss to move to South London shouldn’t be too difficult to pull off for the Eagles.

Arsenal must now complete Eberechi Eze signing
Palace identifying a replacement for Eze certainly suggests there is a strong chance Arsenal will complete a deal for the player this summer.
The South London outfit are essentially encouraging the Gunners to accelerate their efforts to sign Eze by drawing up a succession plan.
Andrea Berta must now deliver on this front, with the stars seemingly aligning for the former Hale End man to secure his dream move to N5.
| Eberechi Eze’s Premier League Statistics 2024/25 | |
| Appearances | 34 |
| Goals | 8 |
| Assists | 8 |
| Shots per 90 | 3.48 |
| Expected Goals per 90 | 0.36 |
| Key Passes per 90 | 2.01 |
| Expected Assists per 90 | 0.22 |
| Successful Take-ons per 90 | 2.33 |
Arsenal must be careful when outlaying over £60 million on a 27-year-old who has no clear place in their team.
However, the Gunners also need something different on the left-hand side of their attack, and Eze would certainly bring this with his elusive movement in central areas and ability to get shots off from the edge of the box.
