Arsenal could be one of the clubs that enter the race to sign Aston Villa attacker Morgan Rogers, which could spell bad news for Eberechi Eze.

Rogers could be one of the hot topics in the summer transfer window, and Arsenal might be one of the clubs that enter the conversation.

Andrea Berta is looking to sign an attacker in 2026, and the 24-year-old could become a key target for the Gunners.

The North London club will not be alone in the race for the Villa attacker, with several Premier League clubs also targeting him.

Arsenal could enter the race for Morgan Rogers next summer

Arsenal have a possibility of entering the race to sign Aston Villa forward Morgan Rogers this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Italian claims that whilst he signed a new deal until 2031, he could still leave Villa Park should a huge offer arrive.

Chelsea and Tottenham are also looking at Rogers’ situation, who is valued at a reported £80m, and rival the Gunners for his signature.

Romano told his YouTube channel: “Morgan Rogers extended his contract with Aston Villa a few months ago, but on Morgan Rogers, there will be movement again.

“I’m sure Chelsea are still tracking Morgan Rogers as one of the most talented wingers in the game at the moment. Tottenham is a dream target, but at the moment, the player was not available last summer.

“We have to see also what happens, for example, at Arsenal and other clubs that can be involved in this possibility.

“The situation of Morgan Rogers will be one to watch in the summer. Aston Villa obviously will try to keep the player.

“But in case they get an important, important bid that could still be a possibility for Morgan Rogers to have the chance to try a different chapter in the summer transfer window.”

The Gunners are on the hunt for a new left winger in the summer, and Rogers has already proved he could be the perfect option for them.

Morgan Rogers could spell the end for Eberechi Eze at Arsenal

Rogers’ arrival would surely spell bad news for Eberechi Eze at Arsenal, with the winger already struggling to find his place in the team.

The Villa forward could fill both the left wing and the number ten role for the Gunners, just like Eze already does.

Eze has not played much football for Arsenal recently, and it’s clear that Mikel Arteta does not fancy him right now.

Next summer, the 27-year-old may need to reassess his options should he hope to play regular minutes.
