Arsenal’s busy summer window doesn’t look like slowing down any time soon, as Fabrizio Romano has revealed that personal terms have been agreed for a fourth signing.

The Gunners have been hard at work trying to find the next line of stars who will improve the squad and take them to the next level.

Andrea Berta has been at the centre of that, as three signings already look set to make their way to Arsenal.

Martin Zubimendi is set to be the first signing, as he will be joined by Kepa Arrizabalaga and Christian Norgaard.

While there are plans to add a winger and a striker into the mix, the fourth signing of the summer looks set to be a defender.

Arsenal agree Cristhian Mosquera’s personal terms, but have yet to agree on the transfer fee

Arsenal have been pushing to sign Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia this summer, with talks accelerating in recent days.

The 21-year-old has been a star in La Liga, having become a regular in the side over the past few years.

With Real Madrid showing interest in Mosquera, there has been a real effort made by Andrea Berta to get the transfer wrapped up quickly.

And now, according to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal have agreed on personal terms with Cristhian Mosquera over a move.

It wraps up the player side of discussions, but the Gunners still have to deal with the club-to-club talks.

An initial bid worth €14 million (£12 million) was recently rejected, though there is some hope that Mosquera can be sealed for around €20 million (£17 million).

It remains to be seen whether Arsenal can do just that, though there is still a challenge ahead of them.

Arsenal have advantage over Real Madrid in Cristhian Mosquera chase

Arsenal will be well aware of the threat that Real Madrid pose in discussions with Mosquera, given their size and stature.

Los Blancos have typically been able to poach talent in La Liga for themselves, landing some of the biggest stars.

While it may mean that Arsenal need to hurry along in club-to-club talks, there is one small advantage.

That is the fact that Valencia are often reluctant to sell their best talent to Real Madrid after a historic falling out over transfers.

That could put things into the hands of Arsenal, who will be looking to beat Real Madrid yet again, this time off the pitch.
