Dusan Vlahovic is back in the market and Juventus have offered him to Arsenal.
The Gunners have found themselves in a difficult position due to injuries. Bukayo Saka is out for the foreseeable future, and Ethan Nwaneri is now sidelined too.
To add to that, Mikel Arteta’s attackers are struggling to take their chances on a consistent basis – the games against Fulham, Everton and most recently Newcastle United all showed that.
A new forward is an absolute necessity, and Vlahovic could be a serious option.
Arsenal could sign Dusan Vlahovic for a cut-price fee
It is no secret that Arteta is a big fan of Vlahovic.
The Arsenal manager is often criticised for not signing prolific strikers, but he has tried to get a few in over the years at the Emirates.
Vlahovic was a big Arsenal target to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang a few years ago, but the Serbian chose to join Juventus then.
Now, after two years of ups and downs in Turin, Football Transfers claim that Juve are ready to let him go in this window after struggling to agree terms over a new deal.
The report claims that Arsenal have been offered the opportunity to sign Vlahovic by the Old Lady for just €55 million (£45.6m).
That is an absolute bargain when you consider that Juventus paid an eye-watering €83.5 million (£69m) to sign him just three years ago.
With Alexander Isak set to cost £150 million and Benjamin Sesko not available until the summer, we think Vlahovic at £45 million is a no-brainer.

Dusan Vlahovic’s stats compared to Arsenal’s forwards
Vlahovic was a goal machine when he was at Fiorentina.
The Serbian scored 42 goals for La Viola in his final 18 months there. That is when he caught Arteta’s eye and Arsenal wanted to sign him.
Vlahovic hasn’t been that great at Juventus, but he hasn’t been bad either.
| 2024/25 | Games played | Goals | Assists |
| Dusan Vlahovic | 23 | 12 | 2 |
| Bukayo Saka | 24 | 9 | 13 |
| Kai Havertz | 26 | 12 | 3 |
| Gabriel Martinelli | 27 | 6 | 2 |
| Gabriel Jesus | 26 | 7 | 2 |
| Leandro Trossard | 28 | 4 | 3 |
The table above shows that no Arsenal player has outscored Vlahovic this season – Kai Havertz matches his goal tally but has played three games more.
If he joins Arsenal, we think the Juventus star will have more chances in and around the box than he gets at Juventus. That will bring the best out of him.
Vlahovic, still only 24, is a tremendous player, and we think Arteta should go all out to sign him in the coming days.
