The Gunners have been rumoured to have an interest in the Brazilian, following rumours of a potential exit from Real Madrid.

Speaking to Graeme Bailey about the deal, he revealed: “Rodrygo has emerged on Arsenal’s radar and Andrea Berta thinks the player is one of the best options for the left-sided role, although he is capable of playing elsewhere.

“Rodrygo doesn’t want a season of being in-and-out – he is going to be a key part of Brazil’s World Cup squad and wants to be playing.”
