Max Dowman is arguably the superstar of all youngsters in the Premier League.
The Arsenal academy star is still only 16 years old, but he spent the 2025/26 season as a first-team player and helped the Gunners win the Premier League title.
It is clear to everyone who has seen Dowman that he has what it takes to become one of the best players in the world in a few years’ time.
What nobody would’ve expected, however, is the teenager playing a part in convincing another youngster to make a move to the Emirates.
How closely do you think Max Dowman will follow in Lamine Yamal’s footsteps?

Arsenal’s interest in Jeremy Monga is common knowledge at this point.
The Gunners are working very hard behind the scenes to recruit young talent, and they have made many moves already.
The Quintero twins are a great example of that, but Andrea Berta is not stopping just there.
Arsenal have had a bid rejected for Monga as well, and another one is expected to go in soon. The expectation is that the deal will be done.
What’s more is that the Leicester City youngster has been in conversation with Max Dowman, who has told him everything he needs to know about Arsenal to convince him to join the club.
That’s according to Hand of Arsenal, who wrote on X: “In regards to Jeremy Monga, talks remain positive and ongoing. Leicester are holding out for a fee they feel is reflective of the teen sensation’s talent.
“The player’s camp are working closely with Arsenal to figure out the most suitable mechanism of exit. The winger has been learning about life at Arsenal via Max Dowman.”

Max Dowman and Jeremy Monga could be the future of Arsenal
Arsenal’s future is incredibly bright already, and Monga could make it even better.
The teenager has impressed everyone with his quality and talent at Leicester, and he is viewed as someone who is destined to become a star.
Add him on the left flank to Dowman on the right, or in a number 10 role, and Arsenal have the prospect of fielding a sensational attack.
The deal is not done yet for the ‘unpredictable’ Monga, but all signs point towards him becoming a Gunner in the very near future.
Arsenal fans should be really excited about that – we have a feeling Dowman already is.
