Arsenal have made their move to sign Jeremy Monga from Leicester City.

The teenager is one of the biggest attacking prospects in English football right now, and several clubs are interested in signing him.

Monga has been heavily linked with Arsenal in recent months, and now, the Gunners have made an opening offer to sign him.

However, their opening bid has been turned down.

Jeremy Monga still wants to join Arsenal despite rejected first bid

Arsenal are prioritising signing young players with great potential.

The Gunners have already agreed deals to bring in Edwin and Holger Quintero once they turn 18, and several other talented teenagers are also being pursued.

Monga is arguably the most exciting of them all, and Arsenal have shown just how serious they are by making a move this early.

The Telegraph claim that the North Londoners have seen an opening bid rejected for the youngster, but that isn’t stopping them.

The report reveals that they will be back with an improved offer soon and that the two clubs are expected to reach an agreement.

As for Monga, he has his heart set on Arsenal and views the Gunners as his first-choice destination this summer.

It now remains to be seen how much Andrea Berta will end up paying for Monga to get the deal done.

Arsenal’s plan for Monga if they sign him

Monga is viewed by many as a superstar in the making, but he isn’t quite there yet.

So, the youngster will not go straight into the first team, but The Athletic claim he will be given an opportunity to train under Mikel Arteta.

With so many senior players away at the World Cup, the Arsenal manager will get a good look at him in pre-season if they can get a deal over the line.

In August, a decision can be made on whether he stays at the club or goes out on loan to get some first-team experience under his belt.

Either way, if Arsenal sign him, it would be great business.
