Arsenal are ready to make three to four signings this summer to once again improve Mikel Arteta’s Premier League-winning squad.
Last summer, Andrea Berta masterminded the summer transfer window, which finally got the Gunners over the line, and plans are in place to go again.
Imagine you are Andrea Berta. Who is your top target for Arsenal in the summer transfer window?
Whilst Arsenal ended their 22-year wait for a Premier League title, they still came up short in the Champions League, and they’ll want to ensure the same doesn’t happen again next year.
Work has already commenced on Arsenal’s summer business, with three to four new additions being targeted by the North London club.
Arsenal plan to make three to four signings this summer
Arsenal are planning to make at least three to four signings this summer, with the same number set to leave the Emirates Stadium, according to The Independent.
A midfielder, left winger, and right-back are among the three positions Arsenal want this summer, plus a striker could also be on their list.
Eli Kroupi Junior and Julian Alvarez are two of the strong candidates for the striker spot, although they face competition from Barcelona and PSG for both players.
Right now, Morgan Rogers could be Arsenal’s top left-wing target, with the England international able to fill multiple roles in attack.
Rogers could be the perfect player for Mikel Arteta’s squad, given his size, Premier League experience, versatility, and injury record.
Signing a midfielder might no longer be such a priority following Myles Lewis-Skelly’s very impressive finish to the season at Arsenal.
👀 Who is the FIRST Arsenal player Andrea Berta must sell this summer?
The 19-year-old won his spot back in the team and was rewarded with a spot in Arsenal’s Champions League final line-up.
Finally, the right-back spot will be key to make a top signing in, as Ben White is set to leave the club, and the Gunners need adequate backup for Jurrien Timber.
Last term, Timber was overused and ended up getting injured, which prevented him from starting the Champions League final.
In terms of departures, Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri have been made available, with the Gunners needing to raise funds and make space for new arrivals.
