Arsenal are expected to strengthen in a number of positions this summer.

Mikel Arteta’s need for a striker has been clear to see all season and the club are linked with a move for Viktor Gyokeres.

Arsenal have also tabled an offer for Igor Jesus as Andrea Berta gets to work on bringing the firepower needed in attacking areas to claim the Premier League title next season.

Martin Zubimendi’s imminent arrival at Arsenal also means that their midfield will be bolstered and the Gunners have just learned the asking price of a top defender target too.

Arsenal learn asking price of Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera

Arsenal are interested in Cristhian Mosquera of Valencia after it was revealed that Berta was planning to meet the player’s representatives.

Following the Gunners’ interest, Valencia have now set Mosquera’s asking price at £16.8m as per Relovo but could face competition from RB Leipzig.

Mosquera has been described by Anthony Scouts as having an ‘impressive physique and striking presence’, something which Arteta likes to have in his back line.

The 20-year-old has already featured 40 times for his club this season and has gained five Spanish U21 caps despite also qualifying to represent Colombia.

Jakub Kiwior’s Arsenal departure looking increasingly likely

Despite excelling in his recent run in the Arsenal side, Jakub Kiwior’s departure from the club this summer is growing increasingly likely.

Napoli want Kiwior as the Gunners have set an asking price of £30m for the Polish defender – meaning the club would earn £10m profit from the sale.

Arsenal’s stance on Kiwior means that an exit is drawing closer given the 25-year-old’s demands for first-team football and his recent displays have caught the eye of a number of clubs.

Mosquera could be the direct replacement for Kiwior next campaign and become the understudy to the powerful partnership of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes.
