Arsenal have made some good moves in January over the last few years.

Martin Odegaard was first brought in on loan in the winter window in 2021, while Jorginho and Leandro Trossard were signed the following year.

Arsenal didn’t do anything last year, but fans are really hoping that Mikel Arteta will dive into the market this January for at least one new signing, if not two.

Real Madrid’s Arda Guler has been mentioned as a target for Arsenal on loan. Now, another Galactico’s name has been suggested to the Gunners.

Arsenal told to sign Brahim Diaz from Real Madrid

Arsenal could do with offensive reinforcements in the January transfer window.

The Gunners have scored just three goals in their last four league games, which is simply not good enough. They have often looked clueless in the final third and have at times created next to nothing.

That is why Arteta’s side are already nine points behind Liverpool in the Premier League table.

Arsenal should really consider strengthening their attack in the January transfer window, and after links to Guler emerged, another name has been put forward.

ESPN pundit Alejandro Moreno has suggested Brahim Diaz to Arsenal as an option when the window opens on the first day of 2025.

Diaz, like Guler, has been struggling for game time under Carlo Ancelotti. He has played just 254 minutes of football in all competitions since the start of the season.

When Moreno was asked if Arsenal should make a loan move for Guler, he replied on ESPN FC: “A guy that gives you something different. He has a different feel about him in terms of the game he can play.

“But yes, that profile – Brahim Diaz, for example, as well, who hasn’t played a whole lot at Real Madrid.

“There is something to be said about an attacking player. When the game is 0-0 and it’s late and you look at who’s coming off the bench and what do you have? You’re like: “Ah, no, no! We’re still going with the Gabriel Jesus route? Is this still the guy that saves us?”

“I’m not quite sure that’s the case. In fact, I know that’s not the case. I think the options coming off the bench when it comes to the attack is pretty limited.”

Brahim Diaz’s stats in 2023/24 will excite Arsenal fans

It was always difficult to get into Real Madrid’s attack, and Kylian Mbappe’s arrival in the summer made things worse for people like Diaz.

The Morocco international is a very good player. He can play in every single attacking position and has proven his quality at the top level.

In the 2023/24 season, Diaz scored 12 goals and provided nine assists for Real Madrid in just 22 starts in all competitions. That is an amazing return for someone who isn’t a guaranteed starter.

If Diaz is available on loan in January, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to bring him to Arsenal, especially as the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling are not firing at the moment.

However, we’re sure there will be a lot of competition for Diaz’s signature.
