Arsenal’s summer transfer plans are set to include a whole raft of exits, with the club looking to make space for potential incoming players.
The Gunners are looking to make a statement in the market, with Andrea Berta looking at which options could bolster the side.
A centre-forward is top priority for Arsenal, along with a winger, a midfielder and a backup goalkeeper in the coming weeks.
While the north London outfit look at bolstering, there will be some players who simply won’t be around for the journey.
Nuno Tavares is set to join Lazio permanently as the first transfer exit agreed from the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Beyond him, there is another loan star who is now expected to leave after disappointing at Arsenal.

Albert Sambi Lokonga set for Arsenal summer transfer exit
Arsenal’s summer transfer business looks set to include plenty of exits, including a possible move for Albert Sambi Lokonga.
According to the Standard, the midfielder is expected to leave, following his season on loan at La Liga outfit Sevilla.
The Spanish side have a £10million permanent option in his deal, which would allow them to seal the move.
It’s unclear whether they will want to land the star or not, following something of an injury-interrupted season.
However, reporter Matteo Moretto claims that Lokonga is set to return to Arsenal and won’t continue at Sevilla.
Lokonga joined Arsenal for an initial £17.2million deal from Anderlecht, hopeful that he could be a long-term prospect for Mikel Arteta’s central ranks.
His struggles in the team have led to him being sent on loan, first at Luton in the Premier League last season, and now with Sevilla.
With his return on the cards for the coming month, it remains to be seen what the future holds for Lokonga, but it seems to be away from Arsenal.

How Albert Sambi Lokonga has performed for Sevilla on loan this season
Lokonga’s loan move to Sevilla has been a mixed one so far, with plenty of positives and negatives to take from the experience.
While the Arsenal loanee has shown bright sparks, several hamstring injuries have kept him sidelined throughout the season.
| Appearances | Goals | Assists |
|---|---|---|

In his absence, Sevilla have plummeted to mid-table in La Liga and have missed out on European football for next season.
That, in itself, may well play a part in the club not wanting to trigger the permanent clause for Lokonga.
It remains to be seen what is next, but his time at Arsenal may well be coming to a close too.
