Morgan Rogers has emerged as one of Arsenal’s biggest transfer targets this summer.

The Gunners are expected to strengthen their attack again after falling just short in the Champions League final against PSG.

Andrea Berta knows Arsenal do not simply need squad depth anymore; they need players who can immediately raise the level of an already outstanding team.

Rogers certainly fits that description, and it appears the Aston Villa star is keen on the move too.

Morgan Rogers wants to join Arsenal more than any other club

Morgan Rogers’ stock has skyrocketed over the last 18 months.

The England international has developed into one of the Premier League’s most exciting attacking players and looks ready for the next step in his career.

That has naturally attracted interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe.

When a player of Rogers’ quality becomes available, there is never going to be a shortage of suitors.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with him because he offers exactly the sort of profile Mikel Arteta loves – he is powerful, technically gifted, capable of playing in multiple attacking positions and still has plenty of room to improve.

Most importantly, Rogers looks like the type of signing who could immediately strengthen Arsenal’s starting XI rather than simply add depth.

The good news for the Gunners is that the feeling appears to be mutual.

Journalist Alex Goldberg has revealed that Arsenal are Rogers’ preferred destination despite interest from elsewhere.

He said on X: “Morgan Rogers’ priority is Arsenal. That’s the club he most wants to go to.”

Arsenal are not worried about rival interest in Morgan Rogers

That preference could prove crucial because Arsenal are not the only club chasing Rogers. When a young English attacker performs at the level he has, interest from Europe’s elite is inevitable.

Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and PSG have all been linked with the Aston Villa star.

According to The Mirror, however, Arsenal believe they will be in pole position if Rogers becomes available this summer.

The Gunners clearly feel they have a strong chance of winning the race despite the level of competition involved.

That confidence may now be justified if Rogers has genuinely decided that Arsenal are the club he wants to join more than any other.
