Arsenal are in the market for a forward as they look to add more speed and variety to their attack, and Wolves star Pedro Neto has been linked.
Neto has been outstanding over the last few seasons, and given that he adds pace and trickery on either wing, he could be the perfect profile for what Mikel Arteta wants.
Arsenal are seeking a winger who can bring more speed to the side, with Gabriel Martinelli the only truly pacey outlet in transition, whilst they are also keen to add another rotational option to support Bukayo Saka.
A winger who plays on both sides would therefore be ideal, but after Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams rejected interest to remain at his boyhood club, other options will have to be considered.
Neto is a long-term target for Arteta, and he has been linked with several clubs. Ahead of the start of the season, the 24-year-old has spoken out about his future.

Pedro Neto dismisses transfer links amid Arsenal interest
Speaking to Wolves journalist Nathan Judah, Neto claimed that he is happy to stay at Molineaux and is not thinking about a transfer away.
“I love this club, I’m really happy to be here and take this team to another level,” Neto responded when asked about a potential transfer.
Whilst these comments do not necessarily rule out a move, Arsenal should turn their attention away from the Portugal International despite his quality.
Pedro Neto injury record makes Arsenal move too risky
Wolves will likely ask for a huge fee for their star winger, and on the face of it, given his quality and versatility, this may be worth paying.
However, his injury record is a huge red flag when it comes to a big-money deal. Neto has suffered from several harsh injuries in recent years, and made just 20 league appearances last season.
Injuries prevented an Arsenal move before, with Neto a long-term target, and despite getting fit towards the end of the season, his record indicates that a long spell of good fitness is an unlikely goal if he does sign for Arsenal.
Arsenal have suffered the frustration of relying on injury-prone stars such as Thomas Partey and Takehiro Tomiyasu in recent years, and they should now avoid signings who carry a similar risk.
