Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are keeping a close eye on Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus and his ‘evolution’ under Mikel Arteta.
The Brazilian is one of our best players. He has had his ups and downs at the Emirates, but he was unbelievable against Sevilla, and plenty of big clubs in the world would love to sign him, including Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The Brazilian had entered the final year of his contract at the Etihad, and a number of top clubs across Europe were keen to sign him.
Spanish outlet AS claims today that both Real Madrid and Barcelona had Jesus on top of their wish list last year, but Arsenal’s willingness to pay more got the deal done. Mikel Arteta’s relationship with the striker must have helped too.
Jesus has been a fantastic player for us over the last 15 months, and even though he has been tied down to a long-term contract, clubs haven’t stopped watching him.
The report claims that Real Madrid and Barcelona are still closely following Jesus’ ‘evolution’ at Arsenal. The Brazilian is still only 26, and another big move later in his career cannot be ruled out.
Thierry Henry raved about Jesus
It has only been a little over a year since Gabriel Jesus joined Arsenal, and nobody at the club is thinking of selling the Brazilian.
The 26-year-old is an amazing striker. He was the best player on the pitch when we faced Sevilla in the Champions League this week, and even Thierry Henry was blown away by his ‘outstanding’ performance.
Speaking about Jesus’ assist to Gabriel Martinelli, the legendary Frenchman said: “That is outstanding.
“If you turn into those two players, he knows there is this man [Martinelli] coming. That’s brilliant number nine play. Holding the ball, allowing your team to play. He knows his winger on the opposite side is there.”
