According to The Daily Mail, Arsenal are actively looking to replace Hector Bellerin, and Everton star Jonjoe Kenny has been discussed as an option.
Bellerin, who has been at Arsenal for 10 years, does look like he will leave this summer. He has been a great servant for our football club, but it’s the right time now for all parties to move separate ways.
My Revenge On Ben Foster
Mikel Arteta will have Calum Chambers and Cedric Soares at his disposal, but if reports are to be believed, the Gunners boss is still keen to bring in a new right-back before the transfer window shuts.
Arsenal have been linked with a whole host of players over the last few weeks, but our reported interest in Kenny, who can’t even get a game for Everton, is a real shock.
The 24-year-old, labelled as ‘unbelievable‘ by Aaron Lennon, spent the second half of last season on loan at Celtic. He featured regularly for the Hoops, but he didn’t show anything there that would convince an Arsenal fan that he’s good enough to replace Bellerin.

Arsenal’s reported interest in Kenny really is hard to believe. However, the Everton man has the same representatives as Gunners stars Kieran Tierney and Rob Holding (Transfermarkt), and we all know how much Edu likes to use his connections with agents to get deals over the line.
Should Arsenal sign Jonjoe Kenny?
Arsenal definitely need a new right-back this summer. Cedric and Chambers are both really good and are more than capable of holding their own. However, we need someone of the same quality as Tierney on the other side, and sadly, neither of them are on that level.
Kenny was once dubbed as England’s future at right-back by Everton fans, but he hasn’t lived up to those expectations, has he? He has struggled to get a game at Goodison Park, despite showing what he’s all about on loan in Germany with Schalke.

That shows that he’s simply not good enough to play in the Premier League. That should convince Arsenal to stay as far away from him as possible, but Edu works in mysterious ways, and that really is worrying amid these links.
