Arsenal have been linked with several wingers in recent months including Pedro Neto and Michael Olise, but it appears that rivals Tottenham Hotspur are interested in one of their targets.
It emerged in September that Arsenal were scouting Club Brugge winger Antonio Nusa, who has also appeared for the Norweigan National Team.
The 18-year-old sensation has scored three times and provided three assists in 26 games across all competitions this season, but this does not tell the whole story.
A right-footed left-winger, Nusa may be seen as an alternative to Gabriel Martinelli as Mikel Arteta aims to add more speed to his attack, but Spurs now appear to be negotiating a £25m deal to sign him.
Spurs in negotiations for Arsenal target Antonio Nusa
A report from The Guardian has claimed that Club Brugge want £25m for their wonderkid, and also want to keep him on loan for the rest of the season.
Nusa has shone for his club and National sides, and there were calls for Arsenal to snap him up whilst he is still available.
However, this may not be so easy now, and should he move to Spurs, Arsenal will hope they do not live to regret letting him go there.
Arsenal’s financial fair play issues make January incomings look unlikely, and it seems impossible that they will spend £25m now for a player who will not arrive until the summer.
Martin Odegaard rates Antonio Nusa highly

Arsenal and Norway captain Martin Odegaard is very familiar with Nusa, and has praised him on several occasions.
“Fantastic! He is an incredibly exciting player,” Odegaard stated of Nusa in September.
“You see it every time he gets the ball, it’s exciting. He is still young and will get even better. It was cool to see him. He deserved to get the chance that he takes to such an extent. Incredibly cool.”
Given Odegaard’s admiration of the player, as well as Arsenal’s knowledge from their scouting of him, they will know what a big talent Nusa is, but may be frustrated as the current financial situation means there is little chance they can secure him ahead of their bitter rivals.
Neto and Olise have been linked, as well as Real Sociedad’s Ander Barrenetxea, with it clear that a winger is needed to boost the squad, and add pace off the bench to support Martinelli, with Arsenal suffering every time the Brazilian is substituted off.
