According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Aston Villa have tabled another bid to sign Arsenal star Emile Smith Rowe this summer.

Villa shocked the world a couple of weeks ago when they offered £25 million to sign the excellent Englishman. Arsenal, unsurprisingly, laughed it off, but it looks like the Villans are not giving up just yet.

The report claims that Arsenal have now received a second offer of around £30 million for Smith Rowe. Villa seem determined to lure the playmaker away from the Emirates, but the Gunners have once again rejected their bid.

Arsenal have reportedly made it clear that Smith Rowe is not for sale. The 20-year-old almost singlehandedly changed our fortunes last season, and selling him – especially to a rival Premier League club – would be really foolish.

The Gunners are working really hard to tie Smith Rowe down to a new deal this summer, but an agreement is yet to be reached. The youngster has just two years left on his current contract, and dragging this situation further could prove to be costly.

Arsenal simply have to get this deal done and we’ve to get it done quick. The more delay there is, more clubs will enter the race to sign Smith Rowe, who is undoubtedly one of the finest young talents in the country.

Predictably, Arsenal fans are not too pleased with Villa refusing to go away. Here’s how a few Gooners reacted on Twitter.
