Gabriel Magalhaes is being monitored by Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr, according to reports, which could cause problems for Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
The defender has been a key part of Mikel Arteta’s project, initially joining in 2020 from LOSC Lille for roughly £27million.
While it took some time to settle properly, the Brazilian is one of the most important stars for Arsenal, contributing towards their mean defensive record.
Gabriel Magalhaes has been paired well with William Saliba at the back, but there is an issue that the hierarchy has with the pair.
Gabriel and Saliba are out of contract in 2027, leaving just over two years remaining to negotiate new contracts with them both.
That has become an even bigger issue when reports have stated that Al-Nassr want to sign Gabriel, while Real Madrid are circling a transfer for Saliba.

Al-Nassr ready to triple Gabriel Magalhaes’ Arsenal wages
Arsenal defender Gabriel is of interest to Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, which could see him link up with Cristiano Ronaldo and Jhon Duran.
While the centre-back has been a titan at the back for the Gunners, it remains to be seen if his head could be turned by the opportunity.
Not least because according to Give Me Sport, Al-Nassr are willing to triple the wages of Gabriel’s current deal at Arsenal.
That would see him earn roughly £16.8million-per-year, which is also declared tax-free in Saudi Arabia compared to the United Kingdom.
It’s a huge jump up for grabs, which may only create further problems for Arsenal in the weeks ahead as they kickstart contract talks.

Arsenal could struggle with Gabriel Magalhaes contract talks
Arsenal have held contract talks with Gabriel over a possible extension to his deal as one of a few players set to enter the final two years of their deal at the Emirates Stadium.
The 27-year-old is set to enter the peak years of his career, having been at a top level for the Gunners for the past few seasons.
Keeping him through those big moments of his career will be key to keeping the North London side at the very top.
However, those huge wages on the table from Al-Nassr could distort the situation and create a problem in terms of the finances Arsenal can offer.
That’s because the Gunners simply can’t keep up with those sorts of numbers, plus the tax-free option in Saudi Arabia.
Arsenal will have to hope that Gabriel is so committed to the project that he turns down Al-Nassr in preference of a stay with them instead, even if the finances are lower.
