Gabriel Jesus was the star of the show against Leicester City on Saturday, and Arsenal fans have already created a fantastic new chant for him.

The Gunners signed the Brazilian from Manchester City for £45 million last month (Goal). The 25-year-old was viewed by many as an excellent signing, and he hasn’t disappointed so far.

Jesus was brilliant against Crystal Palace on the opening day, but it was his performance against Leicester that really showed the world what he’s all about. The Brazilian scored twice and picked up two assists in what was a truly sensational display.

Arsenal fans were ecstatic after the game against Leicester on Saturday, and there was just one name coming out of everybody’s mouth – Jesus.

The Brazilian has barely been at Arsenal for six weeks, but he – like his good pal Zinchenko – already has his own song.

Videos on social media show Arsenal fans singing: “Ohhhhhh Mik Arteta called him, said “now’s your time to shine, coz I’m collecting Gabi’s, and Gunner (gonna) make you mine.

“They say he walks on water, then turns it into wine, oh I believe in Jesus, The Arsenal number nine!”

Incredible signing

Jesus’ level of performance since joining Arsenal has really surprised a few people.

The Brazilian has been sensational for us. He was absolutely incredible in pre-season, and even though he didn’t score or assist against Crystal Palace, he really caught everyone’s eye.

However, it was his performance against Leicester – especially in the first half – that took everyone’s breath away. He was unplayable at times, and even though he was directly involved in all four goals, he could’ve easily gotten himself a couple more.

Arsenal really seem to have struck gold with Jesus and we can’t wait to see more of him.
