Arsenal pair Max Dowman and Jack Porter both made telling contributions for England under-17s in a recent international clash with Israel.
The duo have both risen to the fore in the Arsenal academy this season, having been tipped for big things in the future.
Dowman has been involved in Arsenal first-team training sessions, though he isn’t eligible to make his debut until next campaign.
Meanwhile, Porter made his debut for Arsenal in the Carabao Cup after a mixture of registration rules and injury opened a path for the youngster to start – making him one of Arsenal’s youngest-ever players.
The prevailing months have seen both continue their journey at Hale End with the hope of progressing through the ranks.
While that has been ongoing, so too has their chance on the international stage as part of a call-up to the England under-17s squad.

Max Dowman bags an assist for England under-17s against Israel
At just 15 years old, Arsenal youngster Max Dowman seems to be playing ahead of his peers in his age range already.
The youngster has made himself a regular at the under-18s level for the Gunners, while he has made his first appearance for the under-21s too.
That form has seen Dowman land a place in the England under-17s youth international squad once again this month.

The 15-year-old was handed a start for the Young Lions against Israel under-17s in a European Championships qualification match.
England took the lead through Alejandro Gomes Rodriguez in the 25th minute, giving his side something to build from.
On the hour mark, the striker found the back of the net again, this time assisted by Dowman as he landed a telling contribution.

Jack Porter lands clean sheet for England under-17s
Jack Porter has already made his debut for Arsenal, which at 16 years old for a goalkeeper is extremely rare.
It may be some time between now and his next appearance for the Gunners, but his progression could see him in the senior ranks one day.

The youngster continues to feature for the academy teams, while his call-up with Dowman has seen him join up with the England under-17s.
Porter was handed a start against Israel, where he managed to help the side keep a clean sheet in their opening match.
It helped the young England side register their first three points of the qualification campaign ahead.
